Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis is an Australian cricketer who hails from the West Gippsland region of Victoria. Born on August 16, 1989, in Perth, Western Australia, Stoinis grew up in the town of Leongatha in West Gippsland. He has represented the Australian national cricket team at the international level and has also played domestic cricket for teams like Western Australia and Melbourne Stars.

Lindy Chamberlain

Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton, previously known as Lindy Chamberlain, was born on March 4, 1948, in Whakatane, New Zealand. She is well-known for the highly publicized case involving the disappearance of her daughter, Azaria, in 1980 at Uluru, Northern Territory. While Lindy Chamberlain's association with West Gippsland is through her later life and not her birth, she played a significant role in the region's community. She worked as a teacher at several schools in the West Gippsland area, including Inverloch Primary School.

Keith Miller

Keith Miller was an accomplished Australian cricketer and World War II hero, born on November 28, 1919, in Sunshine, Victoria. While Miller was not born in West Gippsland, he spent a considerable part of his life in the region. Miller acquired a property in Willow Grove, West Gippsland, where he enjoyed his retirement. He is regarded as one of Australia's greatest all-rounders and made a significant impact on the world of cricket during his career.

He gained immense popularity as the host of the long-running dating game show called "Perfect Match" from 1984 to 1989. Evans has also appeared in various other TV shows and hosted radio programs throughout his career.

David Morgan

David Morgan was born on July 4, 1950, in Warragul, West Gippsland, and is an Australian businessman. He served as the CEO of the Westpac Banking Corporation, one of Australia's largest banks, from 1999 to 2008. Morgan played a crucial role in the Australian banking industry and has held positions in other renowned organizations as well.

Bill Shorten

Bill Shorten, born on May 12, 1967, in Melbourne, Victoria, spent his early years in West Gippsland. He is an Australian politician and a member of the Australian Labor Party. Shorten served as the leader of the party from 2013 to 2019 and has held various ministerial positions throughout his career, including Minister for Education and Minister for Workplace Relations.
